Description
For women who used injectable contraception the first time they used a family planning method to delay or avoid pregnancy, FP1STINJTYPE indicates whether it was administered with a syringe or small needle (Sayana Press).
Sayana Press is an injectable form of contraception developed by Pfizer and is distributed in collaboration with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) to women in developing countries. This method has a shorter needle, which allows for a less painful injection compared to other forms of injectable contraception, and may even be administered at home.
The question associated with this variable was included in the female questionnaire.
