This variable represents a 3-digit count of the woman's female contacts who have had an abortion, except for the following codes:
995 = Not interviewed (female questionnaire)
996 = Not interviewed (household questionnaire)
997 = Don't know
998 = No response or missing
999 = NIU (not in universe)
Description
NETABOREV indicates the total number of women known by the woman to have ever aborted a pregnancy. This includes any women with whom the woman has had contact in the past twelve months.
The question associated with this variable was included in the female questionnaire.

- Cote D'Ivoire 2020 Abortion Follow-up to Round 2: Women aged 15-49 who were interviewed in the Cote d'Ivoire 2018 Round 2 household and female survey who reported ever having an abortion and consented to be contacted again.
