Description
For service delivery points that provide labor and delivery care, DELIVROOMPRIV reports the setting of the facility's delivery room/s as described by the enumerator.
The enumerator was informed that visual privacy refers to a space that cannot be observed by other people who are not involved in the healthcare interaction, for example, other patients or people in the waiting areas. Visual privacy may be provided by walls, draperies or other forms of partitions to create private spaces for patients. If the facility had multiple rooms used for antenatal care, the enumerator was instructed to report on the room offering the most privacy.
In the original data, DELIVROOMPRIV contains information even for facilities that reported having no delivery care rooms.
