Description

For women aged 15-49 who have ever induced an abortion to terminate a pregnancy, and who sought more than one method to do so, ABORLASTMETH indicates which method she tried last. If the woman had aborted multiple pregnancies, the interviewer specified that this response should refer only to the most recent pregnancy.

There are differences in universe across samples. In Ethiopia 2020, women who attempted, even if they did not succeed, to end a pregnancy and used multiple methods were asked this question.
