Description
For women aged 15-49 whose closest friend has ever induced an abortion to terminate a pregnancy, and who sought only one method to do so, ABORONLYMETH_FRND1 indicates which method the friend used. This question was administered to women who indicated that it was "certain" or "likely" that this friend had ever had an abortion (see ABOREV_FRND1). If the friend had aborted multiple pregnancies, the interviewer specified that this response should refer only to the most recent one.
