Description

BABYVAXCARD_6M reports whether the infant ever had a vaccination card containing information about their immunization record at the 6-month follow-up interview. If the infant ever had a vaccination card, this variable also indicates whether the card was observed directly by the interviewer during an in-person interview and whether the card was formal (with an official Ministry of Health logo) or unofficial (any paper or card with the infant's vaccinations written down).

The question associated with this variable was included in the maternal and newborn health 6-month follow-up survey.

In Ethiopia 2016, no distinction was made between formal vaccination cards from the Ministry of Health and unofficial vaccination cards.
