Description
For women who have ever used a family planning method and experienced side effects, CHGOTHER indicates whether the woman experienced some other change in her menstrual period not listed as a survey option. The woman could report more than one change in her menstrual period.
The question associated with this variable was included in the female questionnaire.
Universe
- Ethiopia 2019 PMAET Female and Household: Women aged 15-49 who are either currently using or recently used (or whose partner is currently or recently used) one of the following methods of contraception in the past two years: female or male sterilization, implants, injectables, standard cycle beads, an IUD, or birth control pills.
- Uganda 2018 Round 6 Female and Household: Women aged 15-49 who are currently using a family planning method and have experienced side effects.
- Uganda 2019 Female and Household (R6 Follow up): Women aged 15-49 who are either currently using or recently used (or whose partner is currently or recently used) one of the following methods of contraception in the past two years: implants, injectables, an IUD, or birth control pills.
