Prior to 2020, instructions to the interviewer included “Provide a paper copy of the Consent Form to the respondent and explain it.” Beginning in 2020, instructions in some samples included “Provide a paper copy of the Consent Form to the respondent and read it.” See Questionnaire tab for this text in context.
