Description
For women aged 15-19 or 15-20 who have ever had sexual intercourse or are currently married or living with a partner, FIRSTAVOIDPREG indicates whether the woman and her partner wanted to avoid pregnancy the first time they had sexual intercourse. The question wording does not specify whether the woman should answer about the first time she ever had sexual intercourse or the first time she had sexual intercourse with her current partner.
The question associated with this variable was included in the female questionnaire.
