Description
FPMETHCONSISINLAW indicates whether the sister(s)-in-law of the woman influences her decision not to use a family planning method. The woman can report more than one person that influences her decision besides her and her husband or partner.
The response category "No one" indicates that the woman reported that she is not influenced by anyone besides her and her husband or partner.
A related variable FPMETHPROSISINLAW indicates whether the sister(s) in law influences the woman to use a family planning method.
The question associated with this variable was included in the female questionnaire.

- Women aged 15-49 who are not currently using any contraceptive method or women who did not use any contraceptive method in the past year.
