For women who have ever experienced an unwanted pregnancy caused by a failed family planning method, FPMETHFAILMC indicates whether the woman had been using the male condom at the time when she became pregnant. The woman could report more than one family planning method that she had been using at that time.
Users should be careful to distinguish this variable from FPMETHFAILFC (had been using the female condom).
