Description
For women who are currently using or who have used a family planning method excluding LAM, rhythm method, withdrawal, or a traditional method within the last 12 months, FPPROVPRIOR indicates whether the provider asked the woman about her prior experience with contraception when she obtained the method.
The question associated with this variable was included in the female questionnaire.
Universe
- Ethiopia 2019 PMAET Female and Household: Women aged 15-49 who are currently using a family planning method or who have used a method to avoid getting pregnant in the last 2 years excluding male condoms, LAM, rhythm, withdrawal, or other traditional methods.
- Ethiopia 2021 Female and Household: Women aged 15-49 who are currently using a family planning method or who have used a method within the last 2 years other than LAM, rhythm, withdrawal, or other traditional methods.
- Uganda 2018 Round 6 Female and Household: Women aged 15-49 who are currently using or who have used within the last 12 months a family planning method excluding LAM, rhythm method, withdrawal, or a traditional method.
