Description

For women who are currently pregnant and considering using a family planning method to delay or avoid pregnancy at some time in the future, FPSTARTWHEN indicates when the woman thinks she will start using a family planning method.

The question associated with this variable was included in the female questionnaire.

Comparability

There are no comparability issues.

Universe

  • Uganda 2018 Round 6 Female and Household: Women aged 15-49 who are currently pregnant and considering using a family planning method to delay or avoid pregnancy at some time in the future.
  • Uganda 2019 Female and Household (R6 Follow up): Women aged 15-49 who are not currently using family planning and would not like to have any more children, or are currently pregnant, and who plan to use a family planning method in the future.
