This variable is a 4-digit numeric variable that represents the year starting method use except the following codes:
Codes
9995 = Not interviewed (female questionnaire)
9996 = Not interviewed (household questionnaire)
9999 = NIU (not in universe)
Description
For women aged 15-49 who used three or more family planning methods in the last 2 years, FPSTOPYR3 reports the year a woman stopped using her third most recent family planning method.
The question associated with this variable was included in the female questionnaire.
Universe
- Ethiopia 2019 PMAET Female and Household: Women aged 15-49 who used at least 3 family planning methods in the last 2 years.
- Uganda 2019 Female and Household (R6 Follow up): Women aged 15-49 who are currently using a family planning method or have used a method in the past 2 years, and who have used two methods before their most recent method.
