Description

For women who made more than one visit to a facility to obtain their current/recent family planning method, FPVISITWAITLONG indicates the longest amount of time the woman had to wait during one of these visits.

Note that this variable reports only a specific unit of time i.e., minutes or hours, not the actual duration of the interval. The specific number of minutes or hours is reported in FPVISITWAITVAL. Users must use both FPVISITWAITLONG and FPVISTWAITVAL to determine the exact amount of time the woman waited at a facility to obtain her current or most recent family planning method. Users may also wish to use FPVISITWAIT for women who made only one visit to a facility.

Women aged 15-49 who are currently using a family planning method or have used a method in the last 12 months and who received the method from a government hospital, government health center, government health post, family planning clinic, private hospital/clinic, or NGO that they visited more than one time.
