Description

FPYNOTKNO indicates that the reason the woman is not using a method of contraceptive is that she doesn't know about a method.

The question associated with this variable was included in the female questionnaire and the maternal and newborn health baseline survey.

Note that while response options varied among samples, considerably so in Ethiopia 2020, " did not know a method" remained as a comparable response category. See the Questionnaire text tab for details.
