Description
HHINSBPJS indicates whether the household member is covered by the HHINSBPJS insurance program.
In January 2014, the Indonesian government began implementing a universal health coverage policy, called the Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN), or National Health Insurance Program, with a goal of achieving a 100% coverage rate by 2019. The JKN is administered by HHINSBPJS (Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial), the social security agency for healthcare, and provides a wide range of health services through public facilities, as well as some partnering private facilities.
The related variable FPINSBPJS indicates whether the woman's most recent family planning services were covered by HHINSBPJS.
