Description

For women who reported having health insurance through the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) and having a valid NHIS card, INSCARDSEEN indicates whether the card was seen by the resident enumerator conducting the interview.

NHIS is a universal health insurance program introduced in 2003 in Ghana with the aim of providing equitable access and financial coverage for basic health care services to all residents of Ghana.
