Description

For women who are primary caregivers for at least one child in the household under age 5, KID1BIRTHMO reports the birth month of their youngest child.

Note that January consistently has the highest frequency across samples. Due to the data entry format of the survey, if a respondent reported a year for her youngest child's date of birth, but not a month, January is the default month for KID1BIRTHMO.
