Performance Monitoring for Action
This is a 2-digit numeric variable that represents a number of rooms, except for the following codes:
94 = Not interviewed (SDP questionnaire)
97 = Don't know
98 = No response or missing
99 = NIU (not in universe)
For facilities that provide labor and delivery care, MATROOMNUM reports the number of maternity waiting rooms in the facility.
