Description
PREGHELPWHENVAL, together with PREGHELPWHEN, reports the amount of time passed since the woman has most recently sought help for having trouble getting pregnant.
Note that the codes in this variable are not reported in a specific unit of time i.e., months or years. Rather, the unit of time in which the woman responded is reported in PREGHELPWHEN. Users must use both PREGHELPWHEN and PREGHELPWHENVAL to determine the exact time passed since the woman has most recently sought help for having trouble getting pregnant.
Some respondents gave the calendar year rather than the number months or years ago that she most recently sought help for trouble getting pregnant.
