PREGTIMEWORRYVAL
When would start worrying about infertility (value)

This is a 2-digit variable that represents length of time (in days, weeks, months or years) except for the following codes:

95 = Not interviewed (female questionnaire)
96 = Not interviewed (household questionnaire)
99 = NIU (not in universe)

Description

PREGTIMEWORRYVAL, together with PREGTIMEWORRY, reports after how long the woman believes that she would start worrying that she could not become pregnant, if she were trying to do so.

Note that the codes in this variable are not reported in a specific unit of time (days, weeks, months, or years). Rather, the unit of time in which the woman responded is reported in PREGTIMEWORRY. Users must use both PREGTIMEWORRY and PREGTIMEWORRYVAL to determine the exact amount of time the woman reports for this time period.

The question associated with this variable was included in the female questionnaire.
