For women who have sought care for herself or a family member at a health facility in the past 6 months, RATEWAIT2 reports the woman's assessment of the amount of time she needed to wait before being seen on her most recent visit.

Samples containing RATEWAIT2 prompt women to rate their wait time on a 5-point scale with options ranging from "poor" to "excellent". Other samples contain a similar variable, RATEWAIT1, which prompts women to rate their wait time on a different 5-point scale ranging from "unbearable" to "fine".

This question is included as part of the Primary Health Care module, which is included in certain female questionnaires. These questions pertain to the woman's attitudes towards and utilization of health care services.
