Description
For women who have ever done something to regulate their periods when they were worried they were pregnant, REGCFMOM indicates whether the woman told her mother about this experience.
A list of potential confidantes was read aloud. The woman could report more than one person with whom she discussed her period regulation.
The question associated with this variable was included in the female questionnaire.

- Congo Democratic Republic (Kongo Central) 2021 Female and Household: Women aged 15-49 who have ever successfully regulated their periods because of a suspected pregnancy.
- Congo Democratic Republic (Kinshasa) 2021 Female and Household: Women aged 15-49 who have ever successfully regulated their periods because of a suspected pregnancy.
- Cote D'Ivoire 2018 Round 2 Female and Household: Women aged 15-49 who have ever done something to regulate their periods excluding attempts to remove the pregnancy.
- Cote D'Ivoire 2020 Abortion Follow-up to Round 2: Women aged 15-49 who reported that they regulated their period to end a pregnancy in the prior survey.
- Niger 2022 Phase 2 Female and Household: Women aged 15-49 who have ever successfully regulated their periods because of a suspected pregnancy.
