Description
For women who have ever done something to regulate their periods when they were worried they were pregnant, REGCFRND indicates whether the woman told her close female friend about this experience. The close female friend refers to the friend the respondent answered abortion survey questions about.
A list of potential confidantes was read aloud. The woman could report more than one person with whom she discussed her period regulation.
The question associated with this variable was included in the female questionnaire.
