Description
For women who have ever done something to regulate their periods when they were worried they were pregnant, REGCFRND1 indicates whether the woman told her closest friend, or the friend whom she is first most likely to confide in, about this experience.
A list of potential confidantes was read aloud. The woman could report more than one person with whom she discussed her period regulation.
The question associated with this variable was included in the female questionnaire.
Universe
- Women aged 15-49 who have ever done something to regulate their periods excluding attempts to remove the pregnancy.
