Description
REGPREGEV_ABOR indicates whether a woman has ever done something to regulate her period because of any suspected pregnancy besides her most recently aborted pregnancy. For women who previously reported that they never aborted a pregnancy, see REGPREGEV.
The question associated with this variable was included in the female questionnaire.
Comparability
The universe differs across samples in ways that may have led to different interpretations by respondents. For example, in some samples, the universe includes women who have ever aborted a pregnancy and in other samples, the universe includes women who have ever done something to end a pregnancy. In addition, some samples include procedures asking respondents if they consent to answer questions on relational and reproductive experiences of women in their community.
