Description

TOILETEMPTYWHO indicates who emptied the household's main toilet facility the last time that it was emptied. Respondents were probed to answer whether the facility was emptied by household members/neighbors or by a service provider.

The question associated with this variable was included in the household questionnaire.

Universe

  • Persons in households in which the main toilet facility is a flush/pour flush toilet connected to a septic tank or pit latrine, a ventilated improved pit latrine, a pit latrine with slab, a pit latrine without slab, or a composting toilet and who know that the toilet facility has been emptied at least once in the past months or years.
