Description
For respondents who have needed to visit a health facility since the Coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions began, including for family planning, VISITOTH reports whether the reason for the health facility visit is other than the options on the questionnaire.
The question associated with this variable was included in the female survey questionnaire.
Comparability
Question wording varies among samples. In several samples, the reference period for the variable is “during the past four weeks”. See Questionnaire Text tab for details.
Only the Kenya 2020 sample differentiated respondents who did not want to access health care during the reference period. For all other samples, women who did not want to access health care are included in "No".
