Description
Women aged 15-49 were initially asked whether, at the time they became pregnant with their most recent pregnancy, they had wanted to become pregnant then, later, or not at all (PGRECDESIRE). For women who said they had wanted to become pregnant "then", they were later asked to consider an additional option of whether they would have wanted to become pregnant sooner, and whether they would want to change their response. Women who said that they would change their response to "sooner" were then asked why.
RECPGSOONTIME indicates whether one reason the woman would have wanted to have this pregnancy sooner was that she had more time to care for another child earlier in time.
The question associated with this variable was included in the female questionnaire.
