Description
PREGHELPWHENMO reports when the woman most recently sought help for difficulty getting pregnant in months. Her response was recorded in terms of years (PREGHELPWHENYR) and months. If the woman reported getting help at one, two, or three years, the interviewer was instructed to probe for an exact number of months.
Note that the responses between PREGHELPWHENYR and PREGHELPWHENMO are not completely consistent. For example, respondents who have a value of 14 months in PREGHELPWHENMO may have a value of 0 or 1 for PREGHELPWHENYR. We advise you use both variables together to determine when the woman most recently sought help.
