COMNTYEVENT indicates whether the woman has attended a community event in the last year where family planning was discussed.

The question associated with this variable was included in the female questionnaire.

Comparability

In Kenya and Nigeria samples, respondents were asked to report whether they had attended a community event in the last year where family planning was discussed favorably.

In Congo (Democratic Republic) samples, respondents were asked whether they had participated in a group talk at the community level about family planning, regardless of whether or not family planning was discussed favorably.
