Description
HLTHVISIT6MO indicates whether the woman visited a health facility for herself or her children for any health reason in the last 6 months.
This question is included as part of the Primary Health Care module, which is included in certain female questionnaires. These questions pertain to the woman's attitudes towards and utilization of health care services.
Users should be careful to distinguish this variable from HCVISITY, which indicates whether the woman visited a health facility for herself or her children in the last 12 months.

Comparability
In the Ghana 2016 Round 5 sample, this variable has a universe of "women aged 15-49 who have visited a health facility for herself or her child in the past 6 months", but it is clear from other questions in the survey that some women also responded that they had visited a facility within the last 6 months for people other than herself or her child.
