Description
ELIGIBLEHHKID reports whether the individual lives in a household that includes a child under age 2. Together with ELIGIBLEHHFEM, this variable was used to determine whether a household met the eligibility requirements necessary to participate in round 1 of the female-child nutrition survey. Household eligibility is reported in ELIGIBLEHH.
This variable is not available for round 2 samples, which have different eligibility criteria (see ELIGIBLESEL for details).
Users should also be careful to distinguish this variable from ELIGIBLEKID, which reports whether the individual is a child under age 5.
