Description
LASTTW1ALIVE reports whether the woman's first-born twin was alive on the day of the survey. This variable refers to the woman's most recent birth event.
The question associated with this variable was included in the female nutrition survey.
Comparability
For 2017 samples, LASTTW1ALIVE refers to the first-born twin of a woman aged 10-49 if the twin was her most recent birth, and if she lives in a household with an infant under age 2.
For 2018 samples, LASTTW1ALIVE refers to the first-born twin of a woman aged 10-49 if the twin was her most recent birth in the last 5 years, and if her household was randomly selected for the female-child nutrition questionnaire.
