Description

NEGOTIATEKIDS indicates to what extent the woman agrees that she is or would be able to negotiate with her husband or partner about when to stop having children.

Users should note that, in samples with a longitudinal component, some non-respondents to the female questionnaire had valid responses in this variable due to imputed answers if they had been interviewed in a previous longitudinal panel survey phase. These cases will only appear in the data extract if the case selection is "Female Respondents and Non-respondents" or "All Cases". The default case selection for PMA is Female respondents only.
