Description
HHTYPE reports the household's follow up type in Phases 2 and 3.
In Phase 2, the household could be the same as the Phase 1 household if at least one original resident was still living there. The household could be a replacement household sampled in areas of high household attrition. The household could also be the new household of a panel woman who moved within the study area between Phase 1 and Phase 2.
In Phase 3, the household could be a Phase 2 cross-sectional dwelling, which includes Phase 1 households, or it could be a replacement household sampled in areas of high household attrition. The household could also be the new household of a panel woman who moved within the study area between Phase 2 and Phase 3.
See the sample notes documentation for more information on the longitudinal data.
