Description

ABORLASTSURGLOC reports the place the woman had her last abortion surgery, but only if other methods were tried first.

In Burkina Faso 2021 and Democratic Republic of Congo 2021, this variable indicates where the woman went to try to remove a pregnancy, including for methods other than surgery (ABORLASTMETH).

The question associated with this variable was included in the female questionnaire.

Comparability

For Burkina Faso 2021 and Democratic Republic of Congo 2021, this variable describes where the woman received any method, not just surgery, to remove a pregnancy.
