Description
CALENDARNEWHY contains retrospective calendar data for why the woman stopped using a family planning method for a period of time prior to the female interview. These data are in parallel to the data contained in CALENDARNE, and are contained in a comma delimited string.
For Niger 2020 (Phase 1), this variable represents the 3 years prior to the female interview, starting in January 2018 going to December 2020, despite the interview month.
For Niger 2022 (Phase 2), this variable represents just over 2 years prior to the female interview, starting in January 2020 and going to the interview month (January-April 2022).
For Niger 2023a (Phase 3), this variable represents approximately 3 years prior to the female interview, starting in January 2020 and going to the interview month (November 2022-February 2023).
For Niger 2023b (Phase 4), this variable represents approximately 3 years prior to the female interview, starting in January 2021 and going to the interview month (November 2023-February 2024).
