This is a 3-digit numeric variable that represents a number of staff, except for the following codes:

994 = Not interviewed (SDP questionnaire)
997 = Don't know
998 = No response or missing
999 = NIU (not in universe)

Description

DOCTORNUM reports the number of doctors on staff at the service delivery point. This includes doctors who may not be present at the time of the interview.

Users may also be interested in the related variable DOCTORPRES, which reports the total number of doctors present at the service delivery point at the time of the interview.

Comparability
