FPMETH2YR reports whether the woman has used a family planning method in the last 2 years. This variable was determined by combining FPUSE2YR, which indicates whether a woman who is not currently using family planning has done anything to delay or avoid getting pregnant in the last 2 years, with FPUSEOTH2YR, which indicates whether a woman who is currently using family planning has used a method other than her current method in the last 2 years.
The question associated with this variable was included in the female questionnaire and the maternal and newborn health baseline survey.
