Description

For women who gave birth to a child in the last 2 years and are currently using injectables or have used injectables as a family planning method after their most recent birth, FPPOSTPINJTYPE indicates whether the injection was administered via syringe or small needle (Sayana Press). An image of the Sayana Press appeared on the screen.

Sayana Press is an injectable form of contraception developed by Pfizer and is distributed in collaboration with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) to women in developing countries. This method has a shorter needle, which allows for a less painful injection compared to other forms of injectable contraception, and may even be administered at home.

The question associated with this variable was included in the female questionnaire.
