Description

FPPOSTPWHEN, together with FPPOSTPWHENVAL, indicates the time passed after the woman's most recent birth until when she started using a family planning method, or doing something to delay or avoid pregnancy.

Note that this variable only report units of time, i.e., days, weeks, months, or years, not the actual duration of the interval. The specific number of days, weeks, months, or years is reported in FPPOSTPWHENVAL. Users must use both FPPOSTPWHEN and FPPOSTPWHENVAL to determine the exact amount of time passed after the woman's most recent birth until when she started using a family planning method.

The question associated with this variable was included in the female questionnaire.
