HHINSJAMK indicates whether the household member is covered by the Jamkesda, Jamkesos, or Jamkesmas insurance programs. These programs are tax- funded insurance schemes that cover poor and near-poor populations in Indonesia.

While the Indonesian government began implementing a universal health coverage policy in January 2014 (see HHINSBPJS), individuals may still be covered by other programs until 2019.

The related variable FPINSJAMK indicates whether the woman's most recent family planning services were covered by Jamkesda.
