Description

IDEALBIRTHWAITVAL, together with IDEALBIRTHWAIT, reports the how long the respondent believes a woman should wait after one birth before she has another birth.

Note that the codes in this variable are not reported in a specific unit of time i.e., days, weeks, months, or years. Rather, the unit of time in which the woman responded is reported in IDEALBIRTHWAIT. Users must use both IDEALBIRTHWAITVAL and IDEALBIRTHWAIT to determine the amount of time the respondent believes a woman should wait after one birth before she has another birth.
