Description
TIMESINCESEXDAY reports the number of days since the woman last had sexual intercourse.
The information in TIMESINCESEXDAY is constructed from TIMESINCESEX, which reports a specific unit of time i.e., days, weeks, months, or years, and TIMESINCESEXVAL, which reports the specific number of days, weeks, months, or years since the woman last had sexual intercourse.
Users should note that for women whose response was originally recorded in months, their response was multiplied by 30 to estimate the number of days in each of those months, thus not taking into account months that do not have 30 days. Additionally, for women whose response was originally recorded in years, their response was multiplied by 365 to estimate the number of days in each of those years, thus not taking into account leap years.
The question associated with this variable was included in the female questionnaire.
