Description
For women who gave birth to a child in the last 2 years and are currently using or have used a family planning method to delay or avoid pregnancy since that time, FPPOSTPMETH indicates which method the woman used.
The question associated with this variable was included in the female questionnaire.
Comparability
In the Burkina Faso 2017 Round 5 and Nigeria 2018 Round 5 samples, the variable FPPOSTPINJTYPE was used by PMA to recode responses for "Injectables" to be either Depo Provera (inserted using a syringe) or Subcutaneous (inserted using a small needle).

- Women aged 15-49 who gave birth to a child in the last 2 years and are currently using over have used a family planning method since that time.
