Description
FPCURRMETHSP indicates whether the woman is using the rhythm method (see FPNOWUSRHY or the Standard Days Method/cycle beads (see FPNOWUSCYCB) to delay or avoid pregnancy. The Standard Days Method is reported to be more effective, but has additional conditions that must be met to be effectively used. After reporting current use of either of these methods (see FPCURREFFMETH), respondents were asked to explain how they used the method to determine if they met the criteria for the Standard Days Method or rhythm method.

Universe
- Women age 15-49 who reported currently using the rhythm method or Standard Days Method to delay or avoid pregnancy.
